Why should I donate?
The Urban Pre-College Education Network, Inc. (UPCEN, Inc.) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit incorporated organization. As a non-profit organization, we rely heavily on fundraising and outside donors. These funds are used to provide supplies and other necessary materials. In order for the UPCEN, Inc. to fund the programs and workshops, it is actively soliciting donations from patrons that identify with and committed to providing community services under-served populations. As a designated 501(c)3 non-profit organization, your donations are tax-deductible. Your continued support is greatly appreciated.

How often does UPCEN do College Tours?
Each year UPCEN, Inc. takes it students on a college tour. For many students the experience of visiting a college campus motivates them to want to attend school.
What makes UPCEN's programs valuable?
Our program is valuable because we have dedicated volunteers who encourage and motivate students to go to college. Every step of the application process is discussed, students are given an action plan and the tools needed to accomplish their dreams.
Are College Prep Workshops free?
Our bi-monthly workshops are free and open to the public. We ask all parents to be involved throughout the process by encouraging their children to attend all workshops.
